These product terms supplement the PTCorp General Terms. Your organisation’s policies and service agreement may also apply. If they conflict, an accepted organisation order and these product terms take priority to the extent stated in the General Terms.
1. Who may use ptNexus
ptNexus is provided by PTCorp Pty Ltd (ABN 59 143 430 700). You may use the app only when invited, assigned or otherwise authorised by a participating organisation. You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
2. Organisation-managed access
Your organisation determines your role, permissions, assigned work and most operational uses of information. It may suspend access, review activity and retain work records in accordance with its obligations. PTCorp operates the platform and processes organisation data under the applicable service agreement.
3. Appropriate use
You must use ptNexus only for authorised work and must not access another person’s records without a genuine assigned purpose; share credentials; upload unlawful, misleading or unnecessary material; defeat security or tenant boundaries; or use client information for personal purposes.
4. Location, camera and evidence
Location is requested only for location-sensitive functions such as check-in or check-out. Camera and selected-photo access may be used for barcode scanning, operational evidence and authorised client records. Do not capture people, documents or private places unless the function, purpose and authority are clear.
5. Recordings and client support
Before recording, photographing a client document or collecting a face photograph, you must explain the stated purpose and obtain the required affirmative consent from every relevant participant. A refusal must be respected. Consent withdrawal must be recorded and the approved discard or retention workflow followed. ptNexus does not perform facial recognition or create biometric templates from face photographs.
6. AI-assisted features
Transcripts, summaries, suggestions and risk-support outputs may be generated with automated assistance. They can be incomplete or wrong and must be reviewed by an authorised person. They do not diagnose, replace professional judgment or make decisions about a client. Do not act on an output without checking its source information and recording the human decision where required.
7. Privacy, storage and deletion
Our Privacy Policy explains data handling. The Data Retention and Deletion Policy explains default periods and legal holds. You may use the account and data deletion process, but some work or client records may need to be retained by the organisation or PTCorp.
8. Availability and safety
ptNexus supports operational work but is not an emergency service. Do not rely on the app as the sole means of responding to immediate danger, medical emergencies or safeguarding events. Follow your organisation’s emergency and incident procedures. Features may be unavailable during maintenance, outages or where security configuration has not passed required checks.
9. Charges and subscriptions
Organisation subscriptions are purchased and managed outside the mobile app. Unless separately stated, individual authorised users are not charged through Apple App Store or Google Play. Removing the app or deleting an individual account does not itself cancel an organisation’s service agreement.
10. Suspension and ending access
Access may be suspended or ended when your organisation withdraws authority, your role ends, security is at risk, or these terms are breached. Ending access does not automatically delete records that must be preserved. You can sign out, uninstall the app or submit an account deletion request at any time.
11. App-store terms
Apple and Google are not responsible for operating or supporting ptNexus. Your use is also subject to the applicable app-store terms. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.
